CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY (CR) COMPASS FROM WESUSTAIN AND CONCERN
The CR-compass offers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) support in setting up their CR management and in composing sustainability reports according to recognized standards.
Initial situation
The European Social Fund supported the CR Compass. In the context of the multi-year project, software development aimed to advance the progress and implementation of CR management and CR reporting by companies. In its basic version, the software is available to companies free of charge.
Objective
The project had the following objectives:
- Development of software for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), which supports the development of their CR management and the creation of a sustainability report
- In addition to software creation of CR content to support the CR management of the participating companies
- Design of a tool for the automated creation of sustainability reports
- Extensive support from companies
Result
The CR Compass offers SMEs a platform for implementing corporate responsibility and writing sustainability reports. It supports recognized standards. The software is free of charge and provides companies all the tools they need to create a complete sustainability report. For extended needs and additional functionality, we offer a premium version.
The password-protected software provides practical support for the implementation of corporate responsibility in SMEs. With the orientation towards the process of sustainability reporting, this section contains tools for the following topics:
- Identification of essential topics using a materiality matrix
- Help with the collection of suitable key figures & collection of relevant data
- Evaluation in the form of diagrams
- Generation of attractive reports
The simple menu navigation, a special training area including a learning program on CR, and an interactive help system support companies in using the platform. The CR Compass accompanies firms step by step through the entire CR management process up to the sustainability report.
